The best cure
Awesome moment this morning. Babysitting my 2 year old nephew. He bumped his hand against something (nothing serious, but he rubbed it and seemed a little bit confused). As he was about to continue on his way, I asked - 'Want me to kiss it better?' - and first he said no, then he thought better of it and decided yes - so he put out his hand and I gave it a kiss. How awesome is that. A kiss can make a 'boo boo' feel better. (Eek - note to self and those reading this - try to avoid flashing to 'honey boo boo' - that is a whole other story that will not be attempted on my blog). Back to the point - when you're a little kid, it really does seem to make a difference. it's those small moments that are so magical. Even as a grown-up, sometimes a hug/kiss is all it takes to feel better. If you see someone who could use some affection, offer it (in a non-creepy way please!).
