It’s become a bit of a political hobby-horse; an axiom, a sell line.
Despite the huge philosophical and political chasm; both Donald Trump and Justin Trudeau used this tactic to get elected in their last elections.
It’s smart because middle is the medium; but what exactly is it?
What IS the middle class?
Well, that’s very hard to say, because what it means in Vancouver is completely different that what it means in Ottawa.
First of all, the national mean average for household income is $70,336 (2015).
As everyone knows; 70 grand a year can mean you are bringing home a good chunk, or you are struggling big time, depending on where you live.
And, there are 3 different levels of the so called “middle class”
