My hanging baskets had blown down and the patio furniture was toppled over. I left the radio on so she would hopefully be distracted by me and the music of the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s on boom 99.7!
Traffic lights are out all over the city. My commute grew from 20 minutes to 60 because every intersection had to treated like a 4 way stop. I noticed birds flying into the wind and not going anywhere. They eventually circled back and took a diagonal approach which worked, but not without a lot of effort.
Winds blowing in Ottawa at 72km an hour have been confirmed. Yikes. No wonder umbrellas are turning inside out.
