The weather has been remarkable here in 2017.
Hard to figure which way is up.
It was so hot last weekend that it seemed to effect attendance at the Carp Fair. It was too good!
As the radar shows, we have a band of cold air coming in, accompanied by some pretty strong Thunderstorms and we are currently under a “Thunderstorm Watch” Advisory in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
In fact, we just had a band pass through West Ottawa, but as of yet, the temps haven’t dropped.
We have had a streak of 18 days without rain at the Ottawa Airport, and we have broken many records along the way with the hottest day of the year, and the hottest day of Fall, like EVER!
That was 33 degrees Celsius on Monday, with the Humid-X up around 40. That’s a 100 degree day just days away from October!
Like a friend said at the Carp Fair; don’t think we’re not 6 weeks away from a parka!
We have to be strong in this Country, we sure do.
