We may be keeping dry, but we’re feeling the effects of tropical storm Harvey (having swept through Texas refineries) here at the pumps in Ottawa. Prices have already jumped at some stations in Kanata, Gloucester and Nepean by 10 cents/litre.
Check out the latest from Gas Buddy HERE.
Side story – last week, gas was 97.7 (or something like that) so I pulled up to the gas station with less than a quarter tank left….only to realize that I didn’t have my wallet. Enter emergency glove box stash of $5 bills. I managed to find 2. So, $10 is was. Until I came back 20 minutes later, wallet in hand. Glad I did!
Not as happy as this guy. ↓ But still happy.
