The Farmer’s Almanac released their long range forecast for this winter and a colder and higher than normal accumaltion of snow is expected here in Ottawa
The almanac uses no scientific data, but over the years the father’s almanac has proven to be 80 – 85% accurate. The predictions are not based on any scientific data other than tidal charts and astronomy and sunspots.
Enjoy the rest of your summer, and if there was ever a year to invest in snow clearing services or a snow blower, this year might be it. ESPECIALLY before the third week of January. Skiers and snowboarders, go ahead and give your bosses a heads up you might be sick around Jan. 20 to 23, which the almanac has pinpointed as being the first heavy precipitation dates for winter 2018
