We are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch, but that is getting upgraded as this slow moving storm moves East towards Ottawa.
The Kaladar region (as shown) has been upgraded to a WARNING.
This storm has the potential to burden us with the potential for high damaging winds, hail and up to 50 mm’s rain, in what could be *less* than an hour.
Remember, a watch means there is only the potential for this type of storm.
An upgrade to WARNING means its going to happen.
The storm, as it is, is showing lighting flashes and is; or has moved through Prince Edward County, Belleville and North up through the Kawartha’s and Algonquin Park.
By the looks of it on radar, there is a very good chance we get this one early this evening around…..7:30-ish.
Accent on the ‘ish.’
