You may not know his name, but you’ll know that face.
This guy is a lethal actor. He has played some seriously dangerous characters with a whole bunch of conviction.
His name is Mark Margolis, he’s 77, and most people know him as cartel kingpin Hector Salamanca on “Breaking Bad” and the prequel “Better Call Saul.”
I first noticed him in “Scarface” were he played another seriously bad dude named Alberto.
Unfortunately, the veteran actor suffered a fall during filming of the new “Better Call Saul” season and he has undergone emergency brain surgery.
“He’s one of the finest actors alive, regardless of whether the role requires him to speak or remain silent in a wheelchair, ringing a bell,” said Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan .
Very unfortunate. We wish him a complete recovery and hopefully he can resume this vastly under-rated career in acting with a little more notoriety.
The accident unfortunately will also probably alter the plot line for the new season of “Better Call Saul,” which is the 4th season.
