The 23rd edition of the RBC/Ottawa Bluesfest is ready to go starting tomorrow night (Thursday, July 06th).
The headliner on the main stage is country music’s Toby Keith, so the mood should be beery beery good. lol.
Also watch for “Silver Creek’s” frontman Shawn Tavenier open up for Keith as a solo act, and Montreal’s Sam Roberts at 8pm on the Claridge Stage.
A couple of things to consider;
*Take transit, don’t drive. It’s free with a Bluesfest Pass.
*Bring your ID. They will be proofing anyone under 30.
*No alcoholic beverages to be brought in, or taken out
*Only soft coolers
*Be prepared to be searched
*No professional photo equipment
*No pets, bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, tents, beech balls, megaphones, flags, flyers, banners, unfoldable chairs and squirt-guns.
Small umbrella’s are ok, as are blankets, and strollers for the kids.
