Toxicology is in on Chris Cornell, and as his widowed wife Vicky suspected; Chris must have been as high as a kite.
She contends that he never would have committed suicide unless he was right out of it, and it looks like he was.
According to a report (TMZ) he was on a wide array of pills like Naloxone, Butalbital, Lorazepam, Pseudoephedrine as well as barbiturates. They were all in his system at the time of death.
It appears Cornell had taken 4 (1 mg) Lorazepam tablets.
He must have been extremely high. In fact, it’s what she Vicky feared when she talked to him on the phone just after the SOUNDGARDEN show in Detroit that fateful night.
She says she had never heard his voice that tone since he was hooked on oxy. She immediately had security personal gain access to his room, but it was too late.
One way or another; drugs have claimed another talent in the music world.
