OPP in Portland spotted a truck travelling on Highway 15 spewing lit fireworks so decided to pull it over. The driver was promptly charged with operating a vehicle with over the legal amount of alcohol in his blood. He picked up a 2nd charge for driving while his licence was under suspension.
His passenger was charged too. He was setting off the fireworks from the moving vehicle, so he was charged under the Environmental Protection Act.
All of this went down at 8:45 AM on May 27th.
This may just be a contender for a 2017 Darwin Award.
