I thought Rona Ambrose did a heck of a job as interim leader of the Federal Conservative Party.
She was smart, confident and asked pertinent to-the-point questions (which were usually dodged) and she also had the youthful fresh face and appeal to combat Trudeau-mania II.
There was a part of me that wanted HER to be the new leader of the party.
The voting for the new leader happens on the 27th with Maxime Bernier leading in the latest polls.
Andrew Sheer and Erin O’Toole would seem to have a shot also.
Ambrose, the Edmonton MP is expected to make the announcement official tomorrow (Tuesday, May 16). She will reportedly step down as MP after the spring sitting of Parliament ends in June.
