Phone Separation Anxiety (PSA) is sweeping the world, causing people to feel anxious and insecure when they’re without their electronic device but researchers have something that can help.
They’ve created a new prosthetic phone to help wean addicts off their devices. The “phone” looks and weighs the same as a normal phone but it doesn’t make calls, take photos, text or use the internet. It’s just plastic.
Research shows that the average person spends almost nine hours per day on their device and that one in three people cannot go one hour without checking their phone. The plastic phone was designed to help people feel less anxious when they are separated from their device.
Countless experts, scientists and common sense dictates that we would all be better off with less screen time.
