Tough to pick a headline after Donald Trump’s latest, wild and surreal press conference in Washington this afternoon (Feb. 16).
Let me see; we got some science, we got some campaign demographics (again), we were needlessly reminded on how he won, we got the lowdown on leaks, a little bit on Russia, more on Flynn and of course we got more running commentary on fake news with another round of “good question/bad question.”
The guy was all over the road, shooting from the hip, and ranting and raving. Truly the ‘world according to Donald.”
The press core, Washington and the political world is absolutely buzzing, and spinning in circles.
Seemingly the way he likes it.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a supporter or not, the basic truth is, this man is making it harder and harder for himself…to govern.
No one has ever succeeded taking on the press and lived to talk about it.
The job of the President is to LEAD. It’s not about badgering, bullying, lecturing, condescension, whining, transfixing; it is not about Donald Trump or Donald Trump getting his way, or selling his brand.
Now, put your big boy britches on, quit whipping us up — and let some people get some frigging sleep there chief.
The man certainly seems to have his own reality.
Leaks are real
The news is fake
The sun is green
My cat is a lake
We all should laugh, but this job of his……serious business.
Maybe I shouldn’t use the word business, eh?
