I have been reading that the White House and it’s departments are running around in circles and morale in Washington is abysmal right now.
No, I don’t believe everything I read anymore, but I do believe in the old saying ‘where there’s smoke, there’s fire.’
I also believe that a good businessman, does not often make a good politician.
Business is often arbitrary and pushed by the sales pitch and is propped up on charisma. Being charismatic in politics IS a virtue, but only when one excepts that politics means diplomacy and compromise. It’s usually pretty boring and things move way too slowly for an adrenaline business tycoon who also uses intimidation as a weapon.
Speaking of which, I think Sean Spicer has to have the toughest job in the whole wide world. Not only is he taking a daily beating as Press Secretary for DJT, he’s also taking one for the team. He’s doing two very important jobs, at once.
If he is taking a beating, he’s getting good ratings doing it!
The ratings are GREAT; 4.3 mill on average, every time he steps up to the podium.
Maybe not as good as SNL spoofing him — but gold nonetheless.
Here he is today calling our PM “Joe” Trudeau today (Tues. Feb 14)
More gold……ha ha
