Bacteria’s most preferred breading ground are warm and moist locations which, by definition is almost the exact description of a water absorbing hand towel. Considering most of us don’t even was our hands properly, it’s not surprising that scientists strongly recommend washing hand towels once every two days (and not once every six months!)
Toothbrush holders are reportedly loaded up with lots of ugly bacteria. One USA study reported that 27% of toothbrush holders actually contain some form of Coliform bacteria. Clean your teeth and MAKE SURE you clean those toothbrush cups!
And then there are grocery carts. Almost 100% of them are home to E. coli because people are constantly touching the handles after holding raw food products
