Here’s a great shot of mother & daughter.
Little doubt Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher had a real solid connection.
This shot is circa 1960, when Carrie would have been around 5 or 6 years old.
And while it was a solid connection, it was also a unique relationship given that it was ‘all so Hollywood.’
If you’d like to see a great portrayal of Debbie and Carrie, look for the book/movie “Postcards from the Edge.”
The movie (1990) stars Meryl Streep, Shirley MacLaine, and Dennis Quaid with the screenplay adaptation done by Carrie Fisher herself and based on her semi autobiographical book of the same title (1987).
