In this fast-paced world, one barely has time to collect oneself before people expect some sort of response or comment.
Mark Hammill first tweeted this about Carrie Fisher’s death on Dec 27th.
He later added this.
The following day, Dec 28th, he posted this.
Yesterday, Hammill wrote a guest column for the Hollywood Reporter – reflecting on his friendship with Fisher – “…she was a handful. She was high maintenance. But my life would have been so much drabber and less interesting if she hadn’t been the friend that she was.”
It’s a beautiful reminder of the depth of friendship. It’s like the expression “I don’t like you right now, but I love you.” We may not always get along, but on a deep heart level, the love remains.
