One of the biggest Rock Stars of the 70’s, Greg Lake, guitarist of “Emerson Lake & Palmer” has passed away at the age of 69 after a bout with Cancer.
It was only nine month’s ago that Lake’s bandmate, Keith Emerson, committed suicide.
One of the founding fathers of prog rock, the British musician is known for songs including “In the Court of the Crimson King (King Crimson),” “Lucky Man,” “Still You Turn me On,” “From the Beginning,” “Welcome to the Show (that never ends)” and his solo hit “I Believe in Father Christmas.”
Carl Palmer, ELP’s drummer, is now the lone surviving member.
2016 has taken it’s toll.
