This Canadian Houseboat was cast adrift in Newfoundland.
And it’s washed ashore in Ireland!
It also had a note inside it that read;
“I, Rick Small, donate this structure to a homeless youth to give them a better life that Newfoundlanders choose not to do! No rent. No mortgage. No Hydro,” the handwritten message read.
The National Post says the boat was last seen in Newfoundland on September 30, so it would have taken about 45 days to make the Atlantic crossing.
However, coast guard officer Michael Hurst said the note within the craft suggested it was probably intended to remain in Canada.
