Working as a Police Officer has to be one of the most difficult jobs out there today.
I can certainly imagine that moving forward, the camera will become one of the most effective –if not the most effective weapons — in all forces arsenals.
It should help our Courts become more effective, and safeguard the public and the Officers themselves.
I certainly would never even consider becoming a Police Officer without one. Following the lead of the Metro Toronto Force, Chief Charles Bordeleau has approved a pilot project.
Matt Skof and the Police Union have been recommending this for some time, and this may be one of the rare times (of late) where the Police brass and the Police union actually see eye to eye.
